Down bags come in a variety of temperature ratings. From as warm as +45F all the way down to below 0 F. They can also come designed for a man or a woman.

The Big Agnes Horse Thief SL 35-Degree Sleeping Bags (800 Down fill) is rated for warmer weather and has some great features. The reviews give it high praise as well. There is a pocket built in for a sleeping pad and it is designed to allow your feet room to move around. Price varies from $150 up to $300.

Then colder yet is the Rab Ascent 500 Sleeping Bag: 23 Degree Down Which is a very high quality sleeping bag. The European down ratings sell it short. The equivalent in the US would be much higher. For a price of around $200 it seems like a great deal with some very good reviews.

And even colder is the sleeping bag which is for the off season camper. It has the Kelty quality and gets good reviews. Priced at just under $200.

This might be for everyone and there are some rated for even colder temeratures.For the adventure minded that may want to pitch a tent during a raging blizzard in the Arctic. This -40 Degree F bag might be just the ticket.
